This Healthy Egg and Avocado dish is quick and easy and adds loads of protein to your meal.

Diets do not work and they do not last. When someone is on a diet they feel it is about starving themselves or cutting out foods. That is why it is important to eat foods that will nourish your body. This Healthy Egg and Avocado Recipe is full of protein that will help build muscle.

Eating to be fit is to add in healthy foods into your meals. Add one healthy alternative each week. It might look like adding more veggies.

This is a journey not a race. As you begin to add nourishing foods you won’t have to count calories or cut out foods in your diet.

Healthy Egg and Avocada

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/2 Avocado

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. For Over-Easy or Over-Hard cooked eggs. Heat 2tsp. coconut oil on medium heat in non-stick skillet.

2. Break eggs and slip them into the pan and reduce heat. COOK SLOWLY until whites are completely set and yolks begin to thicken but are not hard. SLIDE turner under each egg and carefully FLIP it over in pan. COOK second side to desired doneness. SPRINKLE with salt and pepper. SERVE immediately.

3. Top with Avocado. Add other vegetables as desired. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
