I am so passionate about helping others become better versions of themselves, I decided to start my own blog. I quickly became overwhelmed I was not sure where to start. I wanted to put together a page on some tips that I have learned and resources that helped me get started.

Domain Hosting

First of all you will want to choose a domain hosting service. Here you will host your website and secure your domain name. I chose BlueHost because it integrates well with WordPress and has been easy to use. They have great technical support as well.

Blogging Course

Second I decided to start doing some research on where to began. That is when I stumbled across the Blogging Framework by Abby on Abby has a fantastic course on how to start and grow your blog. Abby has helped so many start their blog from the ground up. She walks you step by step through what it takes to begin blogging and become successful. Once I dived into her book I was no longer overwhelmed and excited to begin my new journey.

Abby with just released her updated Building a Framework Course! It has great content and easy to follow format. I am going through this again. Her first course was so helpful for me to get up and running that I started the new course again to learn to updates and change things I made need to change. You can check out the course here:

Abby has just released 5 Types of Content that will Boost your Blog. You can check out the FREE download here!

Email Marketing

MailChimp is a great source to start with. It is free and gives you up to 2,000 subscribers. It is easy to use and integrates well with your website.

Aweber is also an option. However, it is not free but is robust and a very good email marketing system to use. You can try it for 30 days for free to see if it is something you would like to subscribe to.

These are a few of the essentials that I have used to create my blog. As I continue to grow as a blogger I will add more to this site. Check back to see if there are any updates.
